You can disable / turn off comments on YouTube Videos and YouTube Shorts easily. You can also enable / turn on comments i.e., “Allow All Comments”, “Hold Potentially Inappropriate
Comments For Review” (default setting) and “Hold All Comments For Review” again.
1. Go to YouTube Creator Studio
2. Go to the “Content” tab
3. Click on the video or short to disable comments on it
4. Under “Details”, scroll down and click “SHOW MORE”
5. Under “Comments And Ratings”, select the option “Disable Comments”
6. Click “Save”
7. To enable Comments again, now select either “Allow All Comments”, Hold Potentially Inappropriate Comments For Review”, which is a default setting, or “Hold All
